The Alabama Ballet began in 1981 as an outgrowth of the Birmingham Civic Ballet, the University of Alabama at Birmingham Ballet and Ballet Alabama. The Alabama Shakespeare Festival (ASF), located in Montgomery - Alabama's state capital - is the sixth largest Shakespeare festival in the world and attracts more than 300,000 annual visitors from all 50 states and over 60 countries. ASF operates year-round, producing 14 world-class productions annually, including three works of William Shakespeare. Since its founding in 1971, Allied Arts has mobilized more than $79 million through its signature program, a community-wide fundraising campaign to benefit central Oklahoma's cultural landscape. Campaign funds are directed to 25 member agencies and other qualified cultural nonprofits - on average, 20 per year - in support of arts education, free and affordable cultural programming, and healing arts. On an annual basis, Allied Arts-funded programs impact the lives of approximately one million people including the hospitalized, elderly, veterans, at-risk and low-income schoolchildren, and families. Just last year, Allied Arts member agencies provided more than 462,200 arts experiences for Oklahoma youth in the classroom as well as at afterschool sites, libraries, community centers and agency facilities. With Allied Arts funding, cultural nonprofits are in a position to offer community programming at no cost or very affordable rates to ensure heightened access to the arts.

The American Swedish Institute (ASI), founded in 1929 by Swedish immigrant newspaperman Swan J. Turnblad, is a historic house, museum, and cultural center that celebrates Swedish and Swedish-American culture. The Institute's Turnblad mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places. The ASI's purpose is to maintain an institute for the purpose of education to provide lectures, public meetings, conferences, art galleries, libraries, museums, exhibitions, concerts, and publications which promote knowledge of Swedish arts, literature and science. Our accomplishments for fiscal year ending 2008 include 75,000 museum visitors, two major exhibits, 10 smaller exhibits, and enhancements to permanent exhibits.

The Children's Museum Tucson-Oro Valley's mission is to provide fun, play-based, interactive, hands-on learning experiences for children and their families. The Children's Museum Tucson was founded as the Southwest Children's Exploratory Center in November 1986. Formed in 1974, COMPAS is Minnesota's most widely-used resource for artist residencies and community-building through the arts, engaging approximately 320,000 people in the arts in approximately 100 Minnesota towns each year. COMPAS began as Poets in the Schools in 1968, was incorporated as COMPAS in 1974, and merged with United Arts in 1998. With a mix of direct-service participatory programs and re-granting programs, COMPAS is similar to many of the local arts councils around the country. COMPAS reaches people of all ages; rural towns and city neighborhoods; students across the state; and artists. Founded in 1939 as the Modern Art Society, the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) was one of the first institutions in the U.S. dedicated to contemporary art. The CAC is a non-collecting institution that focuses on new developments in painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, performance art and new media. Since 1961, Cox Science Center and Aquarium, formerly the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, has been on the cutting edge of informal science education, curing insatiable appetites for curiosity through immersive journeys. Opening 60 years ago as a 980 square feet museum, the current footprint has evolved to a robust 40,000 square feet, with an average annual attendance now exceeding 375,000 visitors, and educational outreach to 175,000 public and private school children from Palm Beach, Martin, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Between 2010 and 2020, the Science Center's attendance increased by nearly 250%! The mission of Curious Theatre Company is to engage the community in important contemporary issues through provocative modern theatre. Curious Theatre Company was founded by a group of artists who met 15 years ago while mounting Tony Kushner's Angels in America (produced by Hunger Artists) in the 19th-century church the theatre still calls home, a few blocks south of the Denver Art Museum and State Capitol. The Delaware Art Museum's mission is to connect people to art, offering an inclusive and essential community resource that through its collections, exhibitions, and programs generates creative energy that sustains, enriches, empowers, and inspires. Founded in 1912, the Delaware Art Museum is best known for its large collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art, works by Wilmington-native Howard Pyle and fellow American illustrators, and urban landscapes by John Sloan and his circle. Originally called the Wilmington Society of the Fine Arts, and then the Delaware Art Center, the Museum officially became the Delaware Art Museum in the early 1970s. The Delaware Museum of Natural History opened to the public in 1972 to excite and inform people about the natural world through exploration and discovery. As the only natural history museum in the state, the Museum welcomes more than 75,000 visitors each year to experience an African watering hole, gaze up at a giant squid, encounter a jaguar face-to-face, and marvel at the diversity of shells from around the globe. Since its founding in 1921, the Detroit Historical Society (DHS) has been dedicated to ensuring that the history of the region is preserved so that current and future generations of Detroiters can better understand the people, places and events that helped shape our lives. EdVenture's mission is to inspire children to experience the joy of learning. Behind EdVenture's doors, we are proud to have six world-class exhibit galleries, a library, learning laboratories, resource centers and other visitor amenities. Two additional outdoor gallery spaces are located just outside the museum's front doors. Within the total 85,000 square feet that is EdVenture Children's Museum, there are more than 350 individual hands-on exhibits. EdVenture's average annual attendance is 200,000. Eisenhower through compelling programs and events that celebrate his legacy. His vision of peace, prosperity and justice in the world offers this generation a timely and relevant example for character leadership. The Eisenhower Foundation is a 501©(3) non-profit organization established in 1945, following the Allied victory in Europe, to honor World War II veterans and General Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Foundation provides private support for the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum, and Boyhood Home located on a 22-acre campus in Ike's hometown of Abilene, Kansas. While the federal government, through the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), supports the overall administration of the facility, the Eisenhower Foundation provides funding to support the exhibits, programs, and events.

Exploration Place is dedicated to providing informal, enjoyable learning experiences with extraordinary resources for exploration for people of all ages. Opened in 1992, the Florida Holocaust Museum honors the memory of millions of innocent men, women, and children who suffered or died in the Holocaust. The Museum is dedicated to teaching members of all races and cultures to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of human life in order to prevent future genocides. The Museum houses the premier permanent exhibit, History, Heritage and Hope, a compelling history of individuals of strength, courage and spirit, who confronted the extremes of hatred and persecution in their homes and communities. The Museum of South Texas History first opened its doors in 1967 as the Hidalgo County Historical Museum in the old Hidalgo County jail. The mission of the Museum of South Texas History is to preserve and present the borderland heritage of South Texas and Northeastern Mexico. The American Classical Orchestra (ACO) recreates the sound world of the master composers. The ACO is devoted to preserving and performing the repertoire of 17th, 18th and 19th century composers.
